In this month's issue of Inspiri Art and Craft Business Magazine:

New at Inspiri

Things have been very quiet on the Inspiri site this past month. I apologize for that. In mid March I took on a project that I knew would be big, but it turned out to be massive, so I didn't manage to write as many new articles as I'd like.

This month's newsletter will just be a quick update. I'm finished my massive project, so you'll see a return to regular updates and new articles on the site, and May's newsletter will be the full format.

Here's what's new at Inspiri:

Display Booth Photos
These two photos of effective craft booths at a major craft show do a great job of showing what works when you're displaying crafts. I'm grateful to photographer, Rob Pongsajapan, who allowed me to include his photos on Inspiri. I've also included an analysis of why the booths work.

How to Get Inspiration for Your Craft Show Booth
Have you discovered Flickr yet?

When I was developing my own jewelry displays, I looked, without much success, to find photos of good craft booths to get some inspiration and to get an idea of what works and what doesn't. Since then, I've found Flickr. There are tons of pictures on Flickr, and if you search patiently, you'll find plenty of craft booth photos for inspiration. Here are some tips and links to Flickr to get you started.

"Often the difference between a successful person and a failure is not one has better abilities or ideas, but the courage that one has to bet on one's ideas, to take a calculated risk - and to act." Andre Malraux
