Where to Buy Craft Books

When you want to buy craft books online, there is no shortage of sites to choose from.

I buy almost all of my books online because I can always find the best prices for books online, I can find rare titles that a book store may not carry, and it's fun and exciting to have a book (or two or three) delivered straight to my door.

If you do buy craft books online, keep in mind that not all online book stores are created equal. Depending on your needs and priorities, one of these stores should have what you're looking for.

If you're looking to buy craft books at huge discounts, try this site:
BookCloseOuts.com

I've made more than a few purchases at BookCloseouts.com and I'm very happy I found this site. BookCloseouts.com sells new books at 50-90% off the list price and has plenty of discount craft books in its inventory. You'll find fantastic bargains here on great books.

If you see a book you like, but don't plan to order it right away, be sure to check the number of books in stock. Sometimes there are plenty copies of a particular book in stock at BookCloseouts.com, other times they may only have one or two copies of a title that's of interest to you. Be careful you don't wait too long to purchase a book that you like on this site because, if they only have a few in stock, they could be gone if you wait.

If you're looking for a great selection of titles combined with very good prices, try this site:
Amazon.com

I realize this is not exactly breaking news, but it is truly hard to beat Amazon if you are looking for a combination of good prices and exceptional selection.

If you like to support businesses with a social conscience, try this site:
BetterWorldBooks.com

At BetterWorld.com, their motto is Fund Literacy, Care for the Environment, and get a Fair Price on the Books you Want. I'm a fan of this online bookstore because it combines great used books, great prices and socially conscious business practices.

There are plenty of good reasons for doing business with BetterWorld.com. They offer free shipping in the USA, and $2.97 shipping worldwide. They are linked to 70 literacy partners and committed to generate funding for programs that promote literacy worldwide. Also, they maintain a "carbon neutral shopping cart," which means they donate a few cents from each book sold to purchase renewable energy credits and support reforestation.

Although you will not find an exhaustive list of titles at BetterWold.com, there are plenty of great art and craft titles in stock here, so it's always worth checking out this site when you want to add to your craft book library. Anyone who has the integrity to combine business with socially conscious practices has my vote.
