Tips on How to Name a Business
Brainstorming to find a business name can be tedious but it is worth it. Here are a few tips:
Start by writing down the product or service you intend to offer. Then write down as many keywords you can think of that are related to your business, use a thesaurus if you need to.
Think about what your mission is, and how you want others to think of you. Also don't forget to add your name and business to your target words.
Now look at your list and see if you can combine words that compliment each other. The words can rhyme or be total opposites of each other.
Make sure that the name you choose is easy to spell, understand and pronounce. Do not use negative words. Remember to choose a name that represents all of the products you offer and not just one. Be creative and imaginative.
Once you have decided on a few different names run them by your family and friends get their feedback and see what they say.
