Tips on selling crafts online

As an ebay seller, I recommend that you take many clear pictures of the crafts. Use an image host that allows high resolution. Take your pictures in macro mode with good lighting (not flash).

When you are going to ship your items, use USPS for items under one pound and use UPS for items over one pound. Don't buy insurance, because if you have a tracking number, it probably won't get lost. Print your labels online, as it is cheaper.

Never reuse your packages! It is very unprofessional and packaging is very cheap in bulk. Be generous when packing things so that they won't break in transit.

For payment, I would create a Seller account with Paypal. Their fees are high, but they are very secure and they offer seller and buyer protection. This makes the buyer more confident when buying.

Lastly, find a review site or get people to make good reviews about your site. Make sure your site looks good and well developed! That's the key to success.
