Creating great trade show booth displays can be a challenge. Here are two free and easy ways to find great trade show booth ideas.
Trade show booth displays can make a big difference in your success at shows. My favorite ways to get inspiration for creating a display booth are:
1. Going to lots of shows, and
2. Seeking out craft show booth photos online.

Before you create your own display booth, it's smart to go to as many shows as you can. You'll see plenty of display booths, and you'll get a sense of what works and what doesn't work. Remember, when you go looking for inspiration for your booth, avoid outright copying some else's display.
It can be smart to go to shows outside of your own industry to look for inspiration. So, if you're looking for craft show booth ideas, in addition to looking at craft shows for inspiration, also try checking out other venues, such as home shows, where you'll find plenty of trade show booth displays. Thinking outside of the box in this way can help you to come up with original ideas that work. What may be tried and tested in one industry, may be original and exciting in your own industry.
Another way to get some great trade show booth display ideas is to find photos of craft booths. Photos can help you to see the display booth more clearly and understand what works and what doesn't work. In fact, it's amazing the details you'll notice in a photo that you may not see in person.
The tricky part of this strategy is finding good photos. Most vendors will not allow you to photograph their display booth. They have completely understandable concerns about people either copying their display or copying their work, so taking photos at shows is not a realistic option for getting craft show booth photos.
One fantastic place to find plenty of craft display booth pictures is on Flickr.com. If you haven't checked it out, Flickr is a site where people upload and share their photos, and if you search carefully, you'll find lots of display photos there.
To get you started, I've favorited some photos of trade show booth displays Flickr. Most (but not all) of the photos are craft booths. Keep in mind, not all photos are ideal booths. Some are great, and a few, in my humble opinion, could use a little work. It's helpful to see booths that are effective, and booths that are still developing so you can get an idea of the effect different types of displays have in projecting an image to customers.
I have not even come close to favoriting all of the display booth pictures on Flickr. In fact, in order to respect and comply with copyrights, I've only linked to photos that are marked O.K. to share. If you search yourself, you'll find plenty more. Here are some keywords you might try:
Also go to Flickr Groups, where you'll find whole sets of related photos, and try the same keywords. I found the best results with the phrase "craft booth." My favorite group for craft display photos is Flickr Art and Crafts Fairs and Shows.
Keep in mind, it's important to draw a clear line between inspiration, and copying. You may find a fantastic trade show display booth that you just love, but be careful that you don't recreate an exact copy of that booth. Determine what works in the booth you see, and use elements that you translate in your own unique style.
