If you make fantastic jewelry, you must wear it whenever you go out! People do notice what you have on and if that happens to be distinctive jewelry, they will ask you about it. From there, you can suggest a home party at which they will receive nice hostess gifts for booking the party.
One of my most successful parties came about as a result of wearing a trade-bead necklace to physical therapy after having bilateral knee replacements! Here I was, struggling in to the therapy room on a walker, but wearing one of my signature jewelry pieces. A therapist literally accosted me wanting to know where I got such a beautiful necklace.
"It is one of mine", I replied. And from there, I booked a party at the therapy facility, which was attended by many of the therapist's colleagues and personal friends, and I not only had a high-dollar sales night, but added considerably to my mailing list.
Professional people do have a bit of discretionary income, so make sure you are wearing your favorite pieces when you come into contact with them, no matter the circumstances. Networking in this way can be the most profitable of all your contacts.
