Whether you create with metal, glass, leather, paint, wood, clay, textiles, paper, organic materials, or mixed media, you probably know and love your craft extremely well.

But when most people decide they want to start selling their crafts, they quickly realize there's a whole other set of skills and knowledge required to build a successful business selling crafts.

At least, that was my experience.

About seven years ago, I decided I needed to bring more creativity into my life, so I launched my home based jewelry business.

I quickly realized that if my business was going to be successful, in addition to making unique handmade items, I would also need to learn all about the business side of running a craft business.

There's a lot more to selling crafts...

In the early days of my craft business:

  • I spent hours researching information about selling crafts
  • I completed an intensive, one year course for new business owners
  • I worked with some wonderful mentors
  • And, of course, I learned a lot by experience and trial and error

I also committed to sharing that information with other independent craft artists.

  • You can focus on developing one aspect of your business, then add another component when you are ready

And the beauty of this site is that I will share everything I have learned (and continue to learn) right here, so you won't have to waste time searching all over for the information you need.

I genuinely hope that by sharing what I know about selling crafts, I will help you to grow a flourishing craft business that feeds your soul.
